A simple exercise to help you get out of your comfort zone and into your power. A walk & talk about our personal safety. This is just one aspect of my experience with a many layered and complex topic. Last week I said yes to something I didn’t really want to do, and I ended up over-booked and stressed out, all because I didn’t have a “reason” to say no at the ready. In my frustration, I remembered that “no” is a complete sentence. When we say no to something we don’t really want, we are saying yes to our own priorities, our own self care, and our own authority to use our time & resources in service to our values. I invite you to practice "no" with me now. Where in your life can you say “no” to free up more “yes” for yourself? In this video, I share some outside-the-box thinking and practical resources for starting or enhancing your meditation practice. A quick challenge to use acknowledgment to make someone's day more awesome...most likely your own! Owning our inner authority is about connecting with and trusting our inner knowing and intelligence, and acting with courage an confidence from that place of honoring ourselves as the #1 authority in our own lives. I sat down with my sister, Executive Coach Amy Arthur Packer, to talk about how we accessed our inner authority in different stages of our lives, how we personally connect to it today, and how we work with clients to strengthen inner authority in our coaching practices. |
