Last week I said yes to something I didn’t really want to do, and I ended up over-booked and stressed out, all because I didn’t have a “reason” to say no at the ready. In my frustration, I remembered that “no” is a complete sentence. When we say no to something we don’t really want, we are saying yes to our own priorities, our own self care, and our own authority to use our time & resources in service to our values.
